Looking for inspiration? Tour this gracious westside home that offers a personal tribute to the passions of its owners and the talented artistry of Country Club Homes and Sheridan Interiors. This is immediately evident with a custom front door replicating the one from the owner’s childhood home.  A large painted compass adorns the foyer floor and hints at the nautical theme that lies ahead.  In the intimate kitchen, the elegant finishes and bold high-gloss navy blue trim elevate the classic white cabinetry and remind one of a luxury yacht. The custom range hood anchors the room, adding a bold focal point. Texture abounds from the woven metal cabinet door panels to the bead board ceiling with shiny hardware throughout. Dark stained flooring adds richness and warmth while an oversized picture window infuses the space with light. The large square island provides an oversized workspace for the chef and first mates and for these avid bakers, a unique, pullout baking table with a lovely ocean blue, marble top can be slid underneath the counter when not in use.

Off the kitchen is the sophisticated bar/butler’s pantry, painted in high-gloss red with honed marble countertops, beautifully complementing the colors and elegance of the kitchen. Next to the kitchen is the breakfast area, continuing the color theme with a mixture of blue and white stripes and geometric patterns on the chairs and drapes. Beyond the dining area is the inviting, light-filled family room, centered around a stone fireplace whose over mantel is constructed out of barn boards from the original stables that sat on the property. Completing the downstairs living area is the screened in porch, outfitted with bead board, custom boat covers for the windows and cushions in all-weather fabric. This family is truly enjoying being on board their amazing new home!
