    What really makes a kitchen have a wow factor is the careful attention to detail.  A transitional look combines the warmth of traditional detailing with more contemporary clean lines.  Think through some of these details?

    • Exposed metal hinges and interesting knobs and pulls in nickel, bronze or antique brass
    • Rich wood finishes that may or may not be distressed
    • A mix of cabinets that have different finishes to add interest and warmth
    • Cabinets with decorative door inserts such as wire mesh or caning
